Updated: Oct 6, 2024

From a Black progressivist perspective, this manifesto resonates deeply with our lived experiences and the creativity that often emerges from struggle and resistance.

In our communities, we’ve always found beauty in the messiness of life. The “glitch” speaks to our resilience—how we navigate systemic barriers while still expressing our truth. By embracing glitches, we highlight the importance of collective memory and storytelling. Our histories are filled with “glitches” that reveal deeper truths about our resilience and innovation.

This Manifesto invites us to celebrate imperfections as essential to our identities. It encourages us to find power in our narratives and continue to challenge the structures that seek to erase our voices.
